Similar to a bungee cord, these tie downs are another mechanism for holding a tarp in place or attaching it to a canopy frame. These tarp tie downs are elastic cords with a hook on each end and range in size from twelve to 36 inches as grommets on various size tarps are spaced differently and may require a longer tie down to keep the tarp in place. As with most tarp attachment mechanisms, these tie downs go through an individual grommet on a tarp and either attach it to the steel canopy frame or attach it to a grommet on the opposite side, which is the case for a boat tarp or a large RV tarp. |
