When you need a durable canopy frame but a canopy that still lets light in, a mesh shade canopy is an option. These outdoor canopy structures have the same sturdy canopy frame like our polyethylene canopies, and this includes a powder-coated or galvanized steel frame. The canopy, instead of polyethylene, is made of mesh polypropylene – the same material and composition as our mesh tarps. This type of mesh canopy is still UV resistant but allows light to come through at the same time. In addition, a mesh canopy allows for 73-percent shade and 27 percent light. Like our mesh tarps, a mesh shade canopy comes in three colors; black, desert, and green desinged to blend in with our surroundings. As an outdoor shelter, these canopies come with a peaked roof that can have a low to high incline. Sizes for this structure range from ten by ten square feet to 18 by 20 square feet and are usually used as an outdoor shade canopy for people, including yourself or guests.
Other uses can be as a garden canopy, however. A mesh shade tarp is often used as a tarp for gardens, particularly for plants needing some light but not too much. If you're growing plants or a garden that requires this ratio of shade to light, a mesh shade canopy can be set up as a garden canopy to protect your plants.
