Orange is often a color associated with visibility, and an orange tarp is a heavy duty poly tarp that can be used outside when you need visibility. While orange poly tarps can provide the same type of heavy duty coverage as any polyethylene tarp, the color adds increased visibility. These orange poly tarps are heavy duty protection materials, as each tarp has a 14 by 14 dernier count and a thickness of 12 mil.

As with most polyethylene tarps, these orange tarps can also be used as a baseball field tarp. Baseball tarps are polyethylene tarps designed to be the size of a sports field and can be rolled on quickly at the first sign of rain. Instead of being held in place by sand bags, however, a baseball tarp has weighted chains on the edges, so when it's rolled onto the field, the tarp will stay in place.

An orange poly tarp, like any other heavy duty tarp, can be used as a truck tarp, as well. Similar to a baseball tarp, a truck tarp is fitted for a specific size truck and can be automatically rolled on. For materials that cannot get wet during transport, such as asphalt or lumber, tarp covers for trucks need to be waterproof and have the durability of an orange poly tarp so that the fabric doesn't tear during transport.
