Metal carports are a popular structure for sheltering a car and are an alternative to polyethylene portable garages and brick-and-mortar garages. While a metal canopy carport and a polyethylene portable garage essentially do the same things to protect a car, the main advantage of a metal car canopy, or metal carport, is its durability, as both the roof and steel frame have a warranty of almost 15 years. Instead of building a garage, a carport is a sure solution for an almost-permanent canopy structure to store and protect your car.
Each metal canopy is composed of powder-coated or galvanized steel and a pre-drilled frame of tube steel. Typically, a carport canopy has dimensions of twelve by 20 by ten feet, although we do carry larger metal carport canopies if you need to shelter multiple cars. A metal carport canopy, however, is specifically designed to protect regularly used vehicles, like cars or farm equipment, and not seasonal vehicles, which need storage for several months.
