Tarps can be used for a number of purposes, and one of those uses is in construction work. From privacy fence tarps to line fences to fire retardant tarps to keep warmth inside a construction site in the winter, tarps have many uses as protection on a construction site. The types of tarps we carry for construction work includes many standard to large size tarps, with poly tarps, mesh tarps, and blue plastic tarps all available in sizes for construction site work.

The poly tarps we carry for construction site tarps are both standard white and silver poly tarp covers. While a poly tarp itself is the strongest, most durable tarp for protective purposes, many poly tarps are treated to be fire retardant. On a construction site, fire retardant tarps become useful during winter outdoors. To keep workers warm while working outdoors, a fire retardant tarp can be wrapped around an area as heat is generated from forced air heaters. Not only will the poly tarps keep the warm air in but the tarp's fire retardant properties will prevent it from burning.

Other tarps we carry for construction site needs include blue tarps and mesh tarps. Blue plastic tarps are medium duty tarps and are typically used for general protection of materials on a construction site. Mesh tarps, including privacy fence tarps, on the other hand, are used for shade or as a shield-like tarp. Privacy fence tarps, for example, line the fences of a construction site to keep flying materials from flying through the fence and onto the street, and, with construction against a sidewalk in a city, this is particularly important protection for pedestrians. General mesh tarps are used as truck tarps on construction sites for protecting materials that can be exposed to water. Dump truck mesh tarps are used often to cover a load or sand or gravel, but a mesh tarp can be used occasionally as a flatbed lumber truck tarp.
